Having three kids is sometimes challenging, but getting all three to smile for a group picture at this age is ALMOST impossible. We sort of got this one :).

Okay, I may not win the blogger of the year award. I had every intention of updating this MUCH sooner . . .but it seems life with 3 under 3 is sort of time consuming! Anyway . . . Peyton just turned 3 on the 7th, and the twins are 8 weeks old today. Everybody is doing great and adjusting to life in a family of five.

For Peyton's birthday, we took her to Sea World and had an awesome day with just the three of us. The park was empty, which was great. Though we spent $24 to feed the dolphins, seals, and rays - it was worth it.

She is really cute with the babies, always kissing and hugging them. She even pulls their car seats out (drags, really) and likes to try out their stuff:

So here's the wee ones . . . getting really big. On our not so precise scale, we think Ethan is close to 12 pounds and Ally is close to 9. We go back to the doctor next week so will get some precise weights. Sorry abou tthe image, I don't know how to rotate it. Just turn your head and view:

Sleeping is a favorite pasttime around here - not for Renee mind you. The twins have some fancy technology that makes sure they dont sleep at the same time!

I sure wont promise a weekly update, but will sure try to do it sooner than 6 weeks from now :)

Time sure does fly when your whole life revolves around 3 hour feeding cycles! We have been at home for 9 days already! Everything is going really well, we are all adjusting to being a family of five! The twins are doing well, and actually maintaining a schedule pretty well - of course it's just challenging as we figure out how to get everything done with 3 under 3!

The Twins Have Arrived!

The twins are finally here! born on 10/14 at 1:38 and 1:39 pm. Ethan Robert tipped the scales at 7 pounds, 15 ounces (wow) and little Allyson Rae was 4 pounds, 10 ounces. Ethan, Ally, and mommy are all doing extremely well! Big sister Peyton is having fun too! More to come after some sleep . . . .so will probably have another post in about 10 years!

Two more Beckers will be joining the family tomorrow at 12:30, so we wanted to take Peyton out over the weekend for something special. We went to Goofy's kitchen for breakfast. She saw Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Alice, but the highlight of the morning was Cinderella - must be that little girl thing. She did NOT like Ballou AT ALL. The only thing that ranked as high as Cinderella were the gummy worms . . . yes, they have cups with "dirt" and gummy worms for the taking, and Peyton definitely got her share - and mine, and Renee's.

We are officially less than a week away from the c-section! Assuming we don't have any breaking waters or natural labor, Ethan and Ally will be joining us Tuesday the 14th at 12:30! Renee went to the doctor today and he says everyone (all three of them) are very healthy, and he thinks she will make it to the scheduled day! Renee, as you would imagine, is not very comfortable, but is excited that we are now less than a week away!

Here is a picture of Renee taken today, at 35 weeks pregnant! Ethan and Allyson are still doing well and obviously growing a lot! The c-section is scheduled for Tuesday 10/14 -3 short weeks - but only time will tell if the twins want to wait that long!!!

31 weeks today. Doctor says everything looks great! Renee says - man, I'm tired! She is going to stop working next Friday for some much needed baby rest.

We thought Renee was showing at 8 weeks - if you aren't used to looking at her - not really!

But holy cow - take a look at week 17! Holy cow, already into maternity clothes. Two little babies add up fast!!!

Okay, every 6 months or so I get some new pictures up! These were all taken this month. Renee just loves Peyton's little camo pants! Peyton LOVES the water and being in the pool. Renee or I throw her up and down and spin her around while she laughs and laughs. It's a workout for us!

She loves the pool so much that she went in the backyard and said she wanted to go in the pool, so Renee reached inside to get her bathing suit and when she turned around, Peyton was already standing in it, clothes, shoes, diaper, and all! So I grabbed the camera, by which time she was nearly completely immersed. Peyton just kept saying "swim!" "Swim!'
Kid really loves water, even if it's just playing with the hose. This is a spraying elmo attachment that gets everybody soaking wet!

Back in the Bouncer

I saw that the Heldt's computer was down, so thought I would sneak up a post (since you guys are the only ones that read this!). We pulled the bouncer out again, and between that and her new Sand and Water table, the backyard is now on Peyton's top places to play list!

She is getting so big, I don't know what happened to the baby!

Hair Drama So Soon!

Renee and I have been on the inept side about doing things with Peyton's hair, since she sits still for about 4 seconds usually. Last week, she came home from "school" with her hair put up in a Pebbles ponytail at the top of her head - looked adorable. Evidently she sat for them! In the bathtub that night, the ponytail came out, but her hair didn't quite go back to normal! It did turn into one of my favorite pictures , though!

Better to come back after 6 months or not at all? I don't think that's the expression .. . .but anyway!

I was right in the first post - didn't keep it up. Now I know we won't create the digital autobiography that the Heldt's do, but I think I can throw a picture up once a week with a few
sentences . . . .seems easy enough, right?

So Peyton was 9 months old when we got her bouncer in the first post, since then she has learned to walk, run, and chat away. We are amazed at the words coming out of that mouth already, of course it is her 15 month birthday today :)

Here are a couple of pictures taken with our new SLR camera . . . I have a new hobby - photography! Good thing I have such a great subject! I am taking a "correspondence" class with the New York Institute of Photography, and am really enjoying getting into all the details of taking a great picture. Who know that aperture and shutter speed could be interesting :)

Wow! Don't know if we have the tenacity and perservance to keep this up, but lets give it a shot. Keeping up with the Heldts. . . .

Peyton is now nine months old! Okay, so we weren't the quickest to jump on the bandwagon. It should be fun to keep up on all her adventures here, though. Today, Peyton got to play in her new backyard bouncer. When I figure out how to post a picture, I'll do it!

Okay, that's how you do it! Yes, it takes up 80% of the grass, and no, it doesn't fold up anywhere near as small as it did when it came out of that box, but we had fun!
